Along with students from Aldercourt Primary School, our Robotics students attended a Coding and Robotics lesson at the Apple Store Southland. Our students learned the fundamentals of coding and were able to get hands on with robots and solve problems collaboratively with each other using Swift Playgrounds and Sphero robots.
Coding and programming skills are becoming more and more in demand by employers as we move to a digital world. By learning these skills as a part of our STEM program, these students are setting themselves up for success in the future and leaving school with the skills they need to succeed.
Thank you to the team at the Apple Store Southland for making the session possible and helping our students succeed!
