Healesville Sanctuary Excursion

On Tuesday 30th May, fourteen of our Year 10 and 11 Biology students traveled to Healesville Sanctuary with Mr. Russell and Mrs. Perdevski. Students learned about the adaptations of different birds of prey and got to have an up close encounter with a tawny frog mouth owl. We learnt how the behavior of animals is monitored and were able to collect our own data on several different species. Despite the challenging weather conditions, everyone had a great time.
