This collection includes non-book items; eg. videos, dvds, talking books & kits.
Items are indicated in the catalogue by AV and available for use at school in the 'Reading Room'. Arrange with the Library staff to use these materials. The 'Reading Room’ may be booked for the viewing of videos by individuals or small groups. The school subscribes to Foxtel Education, and therefore records specific, contemporary programmes which facilitate a stimulating learning environment.
The Book Club meets every week in the Reading Room. Membership is open to all students. Activities include; discussion of books read by students and Library staff, suggestions for book purchases, promotion of books and book reviews. The Book Club is purely a recreational activity, and is available to anyone who enjoys reading.

NEWSPAPERS
Articles in these papers are accessible through the Echo Index. Other national newspapers are available on-line and via Macquarienet. |

In June 2005, the Library launched its Biography and Senior Fiction Collections. Both Collections have been targeted for further development because of their special interest to our Later Years students and other enthusiastic readers from the Middle Years classes. In 2006, while these collections will continue to be developed, the Special Collections Development focus will be on the new genre of Graphic Novels.
