Camps, Sports & Excursions Fund (CSEF)

The Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund (CSEF) provides financial support to help eligible students participate in important school activities, such as:

• School camps and trips
• Swimming and other sport programs
• Outdoor education programs
• Excursions and incursions
• Graduations and valedictory events

What’s new in 2026?
From 1 January 2026, the CSEF payment will increase to $400 per student for both primary and secondary students (previously $256 for secondary). Applications for 2026 will open from 27 January 2026.

Eligible families must hold a valid Health Care Card, Pensioner Concession Card, or temporary foster care card. CSEF Application Forms for 2026 are not yet available. Once released by the Department of Education, the application form will be uploaded here and families will be notified.
